NEW.S Roundup July 2024

As we look back on the past months, we’re happy to have worked with many wonderful and diverse clients – some of them are featured below. Our team has poured their passion and creativity into every project. Now that we’ve reached the finish line on some of the projects that have tied up our capacities since the beginning of the year, we’re ready for new, exciting projects.
That’s why we’re starting our newsletter with a question: You wouldn’t happen to know just one person who would benefit from our holistic sustainability approach, our effective communication skills, and our clean design language?
We have a client wishlist filled with companies and organizations we dream of collaborating with, but we can’t wait to hear who you would like to see us work with. Send us an email or feel free to connect us to them directly – let's create impact together!
We’ve been nominated as pioneers of transformation
As some of you may have seen on social media, we’ve been nominated for the German Sustainability Award 2024 in the Advertising and PR category! This recognition from a panel of experts confirms our commitment to driving change, raising awareness, amplifying important messages, and making sustainable solutions more accessible. Winning this award has been a key goal, and this nomination, in our fourth year of operation, brings us much closer to achieving it!
Whether it’s religion or political and social views, differences regularly lead to conflict, especially in large cities. In Neukölln in particular, more than 160 nationalities live in a very small area, which has both positive and negative effects on the district. With so many and, above all, so many different cultures, many ideas of what is socially “normal” clash. A common consensus has to be found to ensure peaceful coexistence. Together with our client, the district office of Berlin-Neukölln, we invited local initiatives to jointly implement the “Long Tables” event format on Neighbours’ Day.
Our aim was to develop a neighborly format that gave everyone access to culture, sustainability issues, and neighborhood discussions. There was also free coffee and cake. The day was a great success – but see for yourself!
When we think of textile waste, we might imagine mountains of clothes in the middle of the South American desert. It’s a powerful image, and it’s far away. Someone else’s problem. When Ucon Acrobatics asked us to tell the story of their textile innovation, we knew we had to bring the problem much closer. Statistically, every European produces 17 kg of textile waste yearly thanks to the systemic flaws of overproduction and overconsumption.
With our in-house-produced campaign video, we managed to go viral: Within the first month, we reached more than one million views and spread Ucon Acrobatics’ message “from waste to wearable.”
Businesses need a strong and sustainable core. This is critical in a world where external forces such as competition, regulation, customers, and disruptive trends increasingly impact organizations. These challenges require a proactive rather than reactive approach to keep the business resilient and fit for the future. The Sustainable Core Model provides a clear roadmap for strategically embedding sustainability in the business and achieving long-term success.
The resulting action plan gives you a head start, with actions that are good for people, the planet, and business. In our blog post, we describe how the model works in detail and which companies could most benefit from it.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to connecting with you soon and to collaborating on new, exciting projects. Your support and engagement mean the world to us.
