NEW.S Roundup November 2024
MAXIMILIAN MAURACHER
29.11.2024
Our studio recently turned four – happy birthday to us! – and we’re happy to have published our latest impact report yesterday. Often, good things take time… and this has taken a little longer than expected.
Our latest impact report is more than just numbers: It’s a transparent look into the tangible results of our work, our sustainability metrics, and the meaningful relationships we’ve cultivated. From carbon footprint reductions to community initiatives, explore how every project drives us closer to our vision of a sustainable future.
Our Lates Impact Report is Out!
In the process of becoming a certified B Corp (certainly one of the ups we experienced in 2023, with the third-party audit completed in February 2024), we restructured our impact report and will now work toward the recertification process by aligning our business strategy – and our mid- and long-term goals – closer to the B Corp framework.
In our new impact report, we focus on the B Corp process and short-term goals. We hope you feel inspired by the standards we set and the actions we took.
Are you curious about what we’ve been working on lately? We updated our website with projects we’ve completed for Bertelsmann Stiftung, ProjectTogether, Degewo AG, Ucon Acrobatics, and more. There are many more in the pipeline and waiting to see the light of day – it’s going to be some busy few weeks until Christmas, that’s for sure…
Our Next Brunch for Change is Happening
Our seventh Brunch for Change is coming up next week, and we can't wait to connect with like-minded Berliners again. This is an open space to connect, debate, find collaborators, share and be inspired. With our tough times, community is more important than ever!
Are you a designer, urban planner, in politics or administration, change agent, part of an NGO, or simply interested in meeting new people who care? Save your free spot and don't miss a yummy catering by Roots Radicals.
Thanks to the support and the wonderful location, Atelier Gardens!
Featured in PAGE Online
Our recently launched platform for zero waste activities in Neukölln was featured in Germany’s PAGE magazine:
“In bright colors, cheerful, and set against a sky-blue background, neighborhood scenes are paired with the term “Zero Waste” in various languages. Many of the images are also adorned with an oval icon symbolizing the Zero Waste cycle, which can also represent unity. After all, littering is always a rejection of the common good and solidarity. Instead of tossing trash at the feet of one’s neighbors, the initiative calls for a more sustainable way of life, encouraging repair and reuse — and above all, it promises: “Zero Waste, Full of Life.””
After that, PAGE did a studio feature about us – if you just recently started following us, take a look to get to know us better.
