How do you turn internal sustainability teams from isolated initiatives into a connected force for transformation? For the multi-stakeholder alliance “Green Teams Netzwerk”, we built a brand and platform that empowers employees to drive change from within. The result: a scalable identity, digital platform, and toolkit that connects hundreds of Green Team members across organisations, enabling continuous learning, collaboration, and real impact—online and offline.

Many companies rely on internal “Green Teams” to drive sustainability—but these teams often lack structure, visibility, and support. They operate in silos, with limited resources and little exchange across organisations. At the same time, existing initiatives are often short-term or project-based, without the tools or identity needed for long-term growth. The challenge: how to empower decentralised change makers while building a system that scales beyond a single funding phase.

We developed a holistic brand system and platform experience that enables Green Teams to grow, connect, and act. At the core is a flexible visual identity built around circles and networks—symbolising collaboration and continuous development. The system is designed for adaptability: from digital platform interfaces to workshop materials, social media, and event formats.

Beyond branding, we created a toolkit for Green Teams in-house design team: templates, visual assets, and guidelines that allow them to work independently and consistently. The website we designed and developed serves as a central hub—connecting training, courses, and community features to offline events and workshops.

Green Teams Netzwerk now operates as a visible, coherent, and scalable platform for internal sustainability engagement. Teams across organisations are better connected, more confident in their role, and equipped with practical tools to drive initiatives forward.

By combining identity, platform, and community, the project turns individual engagement into collective momentum and shows how internal change can be amplified.
